Fort Harmar, December 9. 1787.
Sir: I have continued to order the officer of the day to take an account of the people emigrating down the river. From the 1st of June to this day there passed this garrison for Kentucky, 146 boats, 3,196 souls, 1371 horses, 165 wagons, 191 cattle, 245 sheep, and 24 hogs.
