Sir
I herewith transmit the Muster and Pay Roll of my Company for the month November 1797 - and also the Receipt Roll for the October payment.
By the latter you will observe I have paid the months pay due to Serjeant Hill, to Margaret Hill his wife, who being without issue, is Heir at Law. It would have been paid to the Serjt some time previous to his death, could he have signed his name. - I have continued him on the pay Roll up to the day of his death, that the widow may profit by it, but in the case of Stogdon I have not, because no person has administered, nor do I suppose there will be an application for what might have been due to him.
I likewise transmit a Copy of George Brasbridge's Discharge and am with respect Sir
