Procedures for the Issuance of Warrants for Military Land
Description
Refers to the Act of June 14, 1796: military land warrants shall be registered at the Treasury for the purpose of attaining patents for persons holding warrants. Several warrants seem to have been assigned by the same person in whose favor they were issued. It is therefore necessary to exercise great caution in the issuance of warrants.
