Title
Journey Cannot Be Made while Snow is on the Ground
Description
Alexander has received the letter from Mr. Parker with the ten military warrants for Mr. Cutter enclosed. If they had been received earlier, they would have been forwarded by post but the journey cannot be made while snow is on the ground and they cannot find the traces of the old channel from the Spring. Even when the snow is gone, the channel will be difficult to find but Alexander will still make the journey.

Dear Sir
Last Evening I received yours of the 27th Instant from Mr. Parker, and you have Here inclosed the Ten Military Warrants. Belonging to Mr. Cutter - had I got your letter in time, would have forwarded the Warrants by last post. However I hope they will not be yet too late. The Journey is not yet made, Nor can it be made while snow is on the ground as we could not find the Traces of the old Chanel of the Spring. When the Snow is gone it will I believe by difficult to find. But will Embrace the first opportunity to make the journey. With great Respect I am Sir Yr. Obt. Servt W. Alexander
